Groundwater is not only used heavily by agriculture and various industries, but it also  constitutes the largest source of our drinking water (approximately 70%). Therefore, when groundwater becomes polluted, it directly impacts everyone. Microvi Biotech offers simple and efficient solutions for groundwater pollution as both in-ground and above-ground systems, including wellhead treatments and polishing units.

Wellhead Solutions and Biological Permeable Reactors (BPR)

For above-ground configurations, we use proprietary engineered bioreactors that quickly and safely destroy pollutants in groundwater. Apart from the advantages of high endurance and long-term sustainability evident in our systems, our wellhead treatments and polishing units are smaller and more efficient than competing technologies, provide increased control, and require substantially lower energy and maintenance.

Biological Permeable Barriers (BPB)

For in-ground configurations, Microvi Biotech has developed novel at-source biological permeable barriers placed in the path of groundwater that is run by natural gradients. In addition to the inherent advantages of our long- lasting biotechnology designs, our BPBs require virtually no energy input, produce very small footprints (both in the ground and above), and better maintain the natural hydrology of the groundwater than any other similar technology.
